I created this website as a place to display some of my more experimental pictures (among other things...). Usually I take dog pictures (my other websites are
BrecklerParkDogs,
BlackAndWhiteDogPics and
BigDogPics), but today in the park I didn't have a dog with me, so I took some pictures of the dogs that were there, and just before I went home, I started wandering around the bush to see if there was anything interesting to shoot. Fortunately I had the added bonus of a magnificent sunset to bring out the natural colours already present in the bush. This is what I got.
Now, please remember that I'm just a beginner at this. I don't have a professional camera setup. It's just a small point-and-shoot Canon PowerShot A2000 (I will get something better eventually). As mentioned before, I usually take pictures of cute fluffy dogs, but I'm keen to stretch my legs so to speak, and see if I have good enough skills to photograph other subjects as well. Time will only tell:
